Vadodara [city of Baroda] Chamber of Commerce and Industry -</B></FONT><B> an organization of small scale industries in and around city of Baroda began organizing </B><FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#CC00FF" FACE="Arial" ><B>biennial Industrial exhibition in 1995</B></FONT><B> and in 1999 a National level exhibition was organized in Vast open space of Laxmi Vilas Palace compound in month of February 1999. M.S.University of Baroda, after untiring persuasion by G.D.Karhadkar - workshop superintendent of Kalabhavan and active interest by Nilesh Shukla Organizing President of VCCI,  was allotted free entry for participation in fair at largest [A-10] size of stall wherein various departments of Faculty of Technology and Engineering displayed technical exhibits and academic information useful for fair visitors. </B><FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#993333" FACE="Arial" ><B>Mechanical Engineering department </B></FONT><B>gave major contribution by displaying computer/PLC controlled working models, developed during project work of </B><FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#6600FF" FACE="Arial" ><B>CAME elective </B></FONT><B>students, on state of the art technology and attracted large number of qualified visitors who appreciated efforts of department.
