At Mechanical Engineering department instituted in November 1956 in field of "Internal Combustion Engines". In early sixties post graduate diploma in 'Refrigeration and Airconditioning". In 1964 post graduate degree program was added in filed of "Production Engineering".</div> <div>                          These courses were updated from time to time in decades of sixties and seventies. In decade of 1980s , with installation of UNDP project on Gas Turbines and Jet Propulsion, a post graduate degree course ini "Jet Propulsion and Gas Turbines" was instituted in late 1980s. Ritu Singh from UK and Beknev from USSR came under exchange program and spend some time in department.</div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
